Get the best start with UDI

Star Citizen can be very overwhelming as a new player. Here are the two things that make the start easier: starting capital and a guide.

Starting capital50.000 UECwith a referral code
Step 1

Create your account with a code

If you create your Star Citizen account with a referral code from another player, you get 50,000 UEC in starting capital. The button fetches a random code from a UDI member and opens RSI's signup with the code filled in.

The codes are used in turn so every member's code gets used. Do you have the Citizen role on UDI's Discord and want your code included? Type /referral set.

Step 2

Get help getting started

We have members who are good at every gameplay loop in Star Citizen, so you can always find someone to help you get started.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be in an organisation?

No. UDI is a community across organisations, and you can play with everyone. If you later want to join an org, you can find them on the front page.

Can my computer run the game?

Ask on Discord. Many of us have experience running such a demanding game and are happy to help with settings and hardware.

What does the person whose code I use get?

The code is a UDI member's personal referral code, so they benefit too when you start. You get your 50,000 UEC no matter which code it is.
